STABLEFORD 101

Points reward
better holes.

Instead of adding every stroke for one traditional total, Stableford converts the result on each hole into points. A good hole earns more; a difficult hole does limited damage. Add the points from all 18 holes, and the player with the highest total wins the foursome.
